Intelligent Robotics
Algorithms for robots, put into practice in real-world settings.
Intelligent Agents
AI agents built on large language models that plan, use tools and complete tasks on their own — and, combined with robots, let machines understand instructions and plan their own actions.
Medical Informatics
Working with hospitals on privacy protection for medical records, and on AI that helps measure, read and explain medical images.
Speech and Audio Processing
Speech synthesis, speech recognition and voice separation, applied to preserving indigenous languages such as Atayal, dialect analysis, and restoring singing in live recordings.
Machine Learning
Machine learning and deep learning algorithms, applied to large language models, document and score recognition, and network analysis.
